Yu is the head of the Japan office and oversees investment activities from the Tokyo office. Prior to joining Cabot, Yu gained extensive experience in the real estate sector, accumulating over 17 years of relevant experience. This includes a significant 14-year tenure at Citigroup Tokyo, where he held the position of head of the Japan real estate investment banking division for Citigroup Japan. Before his time at Citigroup, Yu also worked at notable institutions such as Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, the Bank of Japan, and PwC. Yu holds a BA in economics from University of Tokyo, and he is also a licensed Japanese CPA.
