a national real
estate development company.
1990.
Management purchases Cabot, Cabot & Forbes Realty Advisors, changes its name to Cabot
Partners.
1998.
Working with eight major investors, Cabot forms Cabot Industrial Trust (Cabot REIT) a NYSE
traded REIT, which
completed its IPO in January, 1998.
2001.
Management sells Cabot REIT for $2.1 billion to an institutional investor. From IPO to the sale,
Cabot REIT was
the top performing national industrial REIT, outperforming the S&P and Dow Jones Indices
during the period.
2002.
Senior principals and other employees from Cabot REIT form Cabot Properties, a private equity
real estate fund
manager.
2005.
Management sells the Cabot Industrial Value Fund for $700 million. Raised Cabot Industrial Fund
II.
2008.
Cabot closed Cabot Industrial Value Fund III and is well capitalized to now pursue industrial
property investment
opportunities in North America and Europe.
2013.
Cabot sells CIVF III to Liberty Property Trust for $1.5 billion. Launches CIVF IV.
2014.
CIVF IV held its final closing of $712 million in February 2014.
